Terms of Use

Khojwise is run by The InHouse Marketers Private Limited, a company registered in India, at [OWNER TO FILL: registered office address] (“we”, “us”).

• Khojwise helps you discover things, plan projects and compare what stores charge, including delivery to your address.
• We don’t sell anything and there’s no checkout. When you buy, you buy from the store, on its own site, under its terms, returns policy and privacy policy. Your contract for the purchase is with the store, not with us.
• Prices, stock and delivery come from the stores and can change at any time. We show when each price was last checked. Always confirm the price, stock, delivery cost and delivery date on the store’s page before you buy.
• Suggestions aren’t advice. Picks, budgets, the assistant’s answers and “why this” notes help you decide. They aren’t financial, professional or safety advice, and they can be wrong. Check sizes, fit and compatibility with the store.
• Design ideas are photographs from open image libraries, shown so you can have something made by a maker of your choice. We don’t make anything, and any arrangement with a maker is between you and them.

Some links to stores are affiliate links. If you buy after following one, the store may pay us a commission. It doesn’t add to what you pay. Whether a store pays us doesn’t decide which picks we show you or in what order. We label affiliate links wherever they appear, as India’s advertising standards (ASCI) and the US Federal Trade Commission expect.

• Product photos belong to the stores or brands that publish them. We show them to identify what’s for sale, and they stay on the stores’ own servers.
• Design ideas are openly licensed photographs. Each one is credited to its creator with its licence and a link to the original. The faded Khojwise mark sits over the picture in our pages; the original file is unchanged. If you reuse a design idea’s photo, follow its licence.
• If you believe a picture shouldn’t be on Khojwise, use “Not a match” on it or write to our Grievance Officer (below).

• You must be 18 or over to use Khojwise.
• Use an email address that’s yours, and keep access to it secure: anyone who can read your email can sign in as you.
• Anyone 18 or over may sign up. We may change who can sign up at any time.

Please don’t:

• break the law, or anyone else’s rights, using Khojwise;
• copy Khojwise’s listings in bulk, or use bots, scrapers or other automated tools on it;
• try to get around limits or security checks, or disrupt the service;
• report design ideas, or send chat messages, in bad faith, or to harass anyone.

What you write in Khojwise (chat messages, project names and notes) stays yours. You let us store and use it to run Khojwise for you, as our Privacy Policy describes.

We’re improving Khojwise all the time, so features may change, pause or stop. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. You can stop using Khojwise at any time; to delete your account, see the Privacy Policy.

Khojwise is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we don’t promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that information from stores is accurate.

As far as the law allows, we aren’t responsible for what you buy from stores, for stores’ or makers’ actions, or for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you for anything related to Khojwise is limited to [OWNER TO FILL: liability cap, for example an amount in rupees]. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that the law doesn’t allow us to limit.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes go to the courts at [OWNER TO FILL: city whose courts hear disputes].

When we change these terms we’ll update the date at the top. If a change matters to how you use Khojwise, we’ll tell you in Khojwise before it takes effect. Using Khojwise after that means you accept the new terms.
